From December 2010 to January 2014, Pestex has been employed by CUSTOM TRANSPORTABLE BUILDINGS (CTB), to apply quarantine treatments on their contracted newly built buildings transported to Barrow Island WA Australia for the Gorgon Project (LNG plant).
Barrow Island is a Class A Nature Reserve, hence the strict quarantine specifications by CHEVRON, which are managed by quarantine officers from Kellogg Joint Venture (KJV)
Currently Pestex are responsible for the application of specific chemicals during the process of construction of these buildings (some are 2 storeys in height), and also quarantine management of the CTB/ALSTOM manufacturing/building site located on Kooragang Island, Newcastle NSW Australia.
Other quarantine duties Pestex has preformed for this project is treatment to transport logistics, such as shipping (while docked) and trailers (DB SHENKER AUSTRALIA) and shipping containers (ALSTOM).
We have proudly executed all strict specifications required by CHEVRON to above standard. Pestex has made this project high priority to our clients and be available at all requests. We have been happy to play a small but important part of this massive $40 billion project.
